July 2022 Campout

Date: July 8-10, 2022

Location: Kettle Moraine Forest State Park - North Unit, Glenbeulah, WI

Cost: $40/person (max registration: 20 people)

Information: We are going to have two groups on this outing:

Group 1 will be Philmont participants as this is going to be a mandatory shakedown hike for their crew. They will hike approximately 10 miles to a remote shelter on the trail where they'll spend the night at a dry camp and then hike back the next day.

Group 2 is for anyone else including those who have never backpacked before. We should make it clear that the troop has some gear that can be lent out. Group 2 will hike approximately 4 miles to a trail shelter then hike back the next day.

Both groups will spend 7/8 at the Greenbush group camp on the trail and return home from the same location on Sunday afternoon.
