Troop 671 was first chartered by the Wildwood Homeowners Association in 1955. Later, when the Wildwood Park District was created they assumed our charter and is where we’ve been ever since. Throughout our history we have been dedicated to providing opportunities for youth to gain valuable experience being responsible and acting as a leader. While at times we have a little more or a little less, typically we average around 40 Scouts on our roster. 

We meet and camp year round.  Our unit Key 3 are:
Allan Short, Scoutmaster.
Brian Padden, Committee Chair.
Laura Shamberg, Charter Organization Representative.

We are a part of the North Star District in the Northeast Illinois Council.
