June Campout – Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan & Wolf River

Date: Sunday, June 22nd – Sunday, June 29 , 2025 (Wolf River tubing or rafting on 6/28)
Location: Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Scout Reservation, Pearson, WI
Fee: Three pricing tiers (ALL PAYMENTS DUE UPON REGISTRATION)
1. $575/Scout = full camp + Wolf River (leaving on Sunday, 6/29)
2. $525/Scout = full camp (leaving Saturday 6/28)
3. $250/Adult

Meet at Woodland Elementary School on Sunday, June 22 by 6:30am, Leave at 7:00am SHARP.
Returning to Troop Garage around Sunday, June 29, approximately 3:00pm.

*Wolf River Trip is OPTIONAL. If your scout chooses not to attend Wolf River portion, YOU MUST TRANSPORT SCOUT BACK HOME. Please make arrangements directly with Mr. Short PRIOR TO THE START OF CAMP!

August 1st Campout – Backpacking Ice Age Trail

Date: Friday, August 1st – Sunday, August 3rd, 2025
Location: Kettle Moraine State Forest, Greenbush Group Campground, Glenbeulah, WI 53023
Fee: $50 per Scout/Adult

Complete Google form by July 22nd Troop meeting.

Activities: Hiking and backpacking. Maximum of 10 people for backpacking to shelter on Saturday night. If enough adults and youth register, we can have a 2nd group that base camps and day hikes on Saturday and Sunday.

Details: Meet at Woodland Primary School Parking Lot by 5pm on Friday, August 1st. Estimated return to Troop Garage on Sunday, August 3rd – time TBA.

August 8th Court of Honor

Date: Saturday, August 8th
Location: Nippersink Forest Preserve, Shelter C, 900 W Belvidere Rd, Round Lake, IL 60073
Fee: $10 per family.

August 29th Campout – Illinois Beach State Park

Date: Friday, August 29th – Monday, September 1st, 2025 **note Monday return**
Location: Illinois Beach State Park, 1 Lake Front Drive, Zion, IL 60099
Fee: $85 per Scout/Adult ($35 if camping only)

Activities: Boundless Adventures Ropes Course on Saturday morning.

Details:  Meet at Woodland Primary School Parking Lot by 5:00 pm on Friday, August 29th. Estimated return to Troop Garage on Monday, September 1st around noon.
