Location: Pebble Beach Park, Wildwood (this is the park on Sears Blvd. west of Rule House)
Tasks will include:
· Installing silt fencing on stakes into the land
· Installing snow fencing on stakes in the water
· Placing plants in their proper locations, as directed
· Digging holes
· Planting
· Watering
· Any Scout hours worked will be counted towards their conservation service hours!
What to bring or wear:
· Appropriate clothing – DOES ANYONE HAVE WADERS WE CAN BORROW, PLEASE? Some folks will be in the water, so please wear clothing and shoes that can get wet.
· Sledge hammer for driving stakes into the ground
· Gardening tools such as spades, shovels, watering cans, cordless drill with an auger-bit, and anything else you think might be useful for a gardening project of this scope. We will have 2,300 plants in all.
· Sunblock, maybe bug spray
